A reception area that’s also a library

Miranda — one of Portugal’s leading law firms — now has a new headquarters in the Allo Building, in Alcântara.

The space stands out for its unique layout, where curved lines play a central role, creating a fluid and unexpected atmosphere. The shelves that hold the books — transforming into benches in some areas — and the reception desk were crafted by BAMER, ensuring a result that is both elegant and functional. Through this configuration, the reception serves multiple purposes: welcoming employees and clients, hosting presentations, or simply offering a place to pause or read.
